WHAT IS HYPNOSIS?


Hypnotherapy or hypnosis therapy is a procedure during which a facilitator guides the client to access the subconscious mind which brings about a deep state of relaxation. Once in this relaxed state, the client may choose new ways of behavior, thinking or habits, without being influenced by unwanted emotions, outside factors, or belief systems.


HOW IS A HYPNOSIS SESSION GIVEN?


A client is guided in a trance-like state in which he or she retains all awareness and becomes more focused and deeply relaxed. The client is in total control at all times. In this altered state of consciousness, from left brain (conscious logical mind) to right brain (unconscious creative mind), and individual is focused away from the distractions of conscious mind. In this natural trance, the individual can work with images, thoughts, perceptions, feelings, motivations, sensations, behaviors, or any combination of these. During this relaxed state of consciousness, one can achieve great possibilities.


HOW DOES HYPNOSIS WORK?


Hypnosis is a powerful, effective, and natural part of you. The ability to go into a hypnotic state is as natural as breathing. In this state, you can learn, relax, or allow changes in your emotions to influence your outlook. Have you ever been so engrossed in a movie that you were shocked that two hours had just gone by? We put ourselves in hypnotic states everyday: before we wake up or go to sleep, or when we shut out an angry conversation. The list goes on ...
